IMSIS Leadership Opportunities
IMSIS has openings for key leadership positions starting in January 2027.
Nominations are now open for President-elect (will become president in 2028), Chair of the Industry Interest Group, and Chair of the Vendor Interest Group.
Nominations should include name, position and a short motivation statement and sent to imsis.global@gmail.com before November 1, 2026.
Self-nominations are accepted.
Voting will take place at the IMSIS 4 conference in Kyoto.
6th IMSIS Global Meeting Bids Open
IMSIS is now soliciting bids for the IMSIS 6 conference to be held in the Americas region.
Bid templates can be requested via email at: imsis.global@gmail.com
Bids are due by February 1, 2027 and can be submitted to the email address above.

Please mark your calendars for the 4th Annual IMSIS Meeting, which will take place from 16–19 November 2026 at the Imadegawa Campus of Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan.

IMSIS is born from the fusion of the IMSS (Americas) and MSIS (Europe) societies, both dedicated to raise awareness of mass spectrometry imaging and foster exchanges and networking opportunities.
